Shylah Taylor 

My name is Shylah, and I am the main Artist and Owner of Tattoosmith and Company. I am a born and raised Washingtonian! I love the beach and seeking new antique spots everywhere I go. 

I have experience working in the medical field and the knowledge I used daily in the clinics and Hospitals carry through into my process of tattooing. I worked as a pediatrics Medical Assistant as well as a Pharmacy Assistant. Both of these positions helped me gain confidence in working with families and kiddos from all walks of life. I was also able to find ways to help keep the community safe and healthy. These are just two examples of processes I carry into tattooing to make sure you as a client feel safe and comfortable throughout the entirety of the tattooing process. 

My style of tattooing falls into the cute and colorful category; I love color! I am more than happy to tattoo images that are not colorful, and they don't always have to be cute; even though it is a bonus! 

I love meeting new people and learning about their stories. Tattooing has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people. Creating art for all of life's special moments, I would love to be apart of yours!
